Tune Up Utilities, weird notification

September 1st, 2013

Earlier Tune Up Utilities started showing an invalid entry.
It says the windows history list references that the file … On desktop no longer exists and the invalid reference can be removed.

Thing is, the file is gone long time ago, i moved it into folder, and it never showed that. Not even earlier today, but all of a sudden it shows me that, and after correcting it, next time it shows up again.
Why is that?
Answer #1
Could be something to do with Shadow Copying.
Answer #2
What is shadow copying?
Its not important anyway, that entry, is it?
I have laptop and dont want it to be too full of those entries, but just this one shouldnt be a problem huh?
Its weird tho that i cant get rid of it.
Answer #3
There an interesting article about it here: (and how to disable it). http://en.kioskea.net/faq/2679-disable-volume-shadow-copy
But it might as well be an error caused by tune-up.
Answer #4
Ok, i will check it out, thank you
It already is disabled. Thats even more confusing.
