Switchable graphic test

August 9th, 2016

Hello,
i have problem with switchable graphic tests in notebooks. I tried 3DMark, PCMark, PreformanceTest and none of them dont detect new switchable graphics in new notebooks, they only see Intel integrated graphic.
I want to compare some new models but this tests dont use these graphics at all, or use them on strange way.
Any advice?

If you have intel and NVIDIA then it’s not the apps that detect anything.
It’s the NV optimus thing that detects them and it only detects what it knows about.
You need to either set up the program in the NV control panel or turn on the “run with high performance” right click menu option and then use that on the programs.

I did that. I only got “Unknown graphic” on 3DMark, but on PCMark in program it says intel hd 2000 graphic, and i added pcmark program in the amd software for switchable graphic. And in PerformanceTest it says only intel graphic.
When i run HWiNFO program on some machines it detects 2 graphic cards, but on some it dont, only intel.
I know how to configure driver software to run programs with switchable graphic, but my problem is when i run tests they dont see them.
This only happens with new cards (radeon 8xxx and nvidia 7xx), with older i see them in tests (not in PCMark, he only see integrated).
