Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 Patch Help

The patch doesnt let me do whats its supposed to! I get
Can not access the file. Maybe it is in use...
Please close the file before patching!
Try to access the file again now?
But I turned off everything that has to do with vegas (except the patch)

If you’re using Windows then click Start–>Run (the start menu search in Vista). Type in “msconfig” and go to the startup tab. There disable everything that isn’t important and restart your computer. Then try the patch again. Good luck mate ^_^

Never mind. It didnt work! Same error. By the way I made a type on the title. Its 8.0 not 9.0

Are u running Vista ?
In vista u’ll have to copy the file into installation folder then Right click and Run as administrator
