Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum won’t open – PORTABLE

I’ve tried about 4 different copies of sony vegas movie studio hd. When I run the portable file on all of them, all that happens is a little icon appears saying something like “licensed to FC portables” in the bottom right, then that goes, and nothing.
I’ve tried running as administrator, doesn’t help. I’ve tried restarting and doing it again, doesn’t help.
