SONY VAIO VGN-NS11j/S Recovery Disk

I Formatted the pre-installed vista on my lappy and installed solaris 10 without creating a recovery disk. Now, even with a new vista O/S disk i cant install back the vista o/s. It keeps giving the error….”Windows can’t find a disk that meets the requirements”
Would appreciate any help from the house.

I have issues with my vaio too and the only solution i could find even after i took my laptop to pc world and spent 8 hours of time at my home trying to find a solution and also having called sony support the only way i could use my vaio fully again was to purchase recovery disks at the cost of �36.80 delivered from sony support. They take 3 days to arrive and i just hope they will work otherwise i will get it working on xp and then sell my laptop at a �10 loss.
Out of all the laptop manufactures such as hp acer gateway etc sony are the only ones with poor driver and os support.
I love the hardware of the laptop i love the specs but sony let you down by driver and software that is why i would never buy anything from them again.
