I formated my pc and now I can’t get on internet and not even to the router settings.. But I can get to internet with my phone.. You think my network card got screwed up? [/b]
Answer #1
Nope – you probably just need to install drivers for your wifi or network card – whichever you are using.
Answer #2
Which Os? XP? or Seven? You may just need the proper driver for the card. A driver is a program that windows need to “read” your card. Find which card you have and google to get the driver from your phone.

Look up your motherboard user guide..
You can also use the drivers CD that came with your motherboard and once you are online..Windows update will update all your drivers..
Answer #5
Install Aida64 …… That will give you information about all the hardware on your PC.
Then go to the Network Card manufacturer site and download drivers, or do as I do and look at what chipset in on the network card and go to the chipset site and download drivers there. My network card is from some Tiawan manufacturer but it uses a Ralink chipset so I get my drivers from Ralink/Mediatek.
