[SOLVED]Help With Skype

ive reinstalled skype over 5 times now but when i run it i just get the blue screen with skype on it,theres no login box fox username password etc
im using win 7 can anybody help me please its a ball ache now

Are you using VPN? If so turn it off then log in. Turn it back on afterward.
Happen to me for the first time when I installed skype. Had to turn mine off and was able to log in. Afterward… it work even if my vpn is on.

i did have VPN but i havent renewed it ill uninstall it do you think that would work?

I’d say your skype profile is probably corrupted!
Delete it from the %appdata% folder and re-run skype.

ive done what you said m8 and its doing the same thing maybe a registry clean up would help????
edit ive fixed it now by doing the following steps incase anyone has same problem
You can try the following:
1. Open Run command (press Win+R buttons) and in the window copy/paste:
%localAppData%\Skype\Apps\
and hit Enter. Location will be opened in File Explorer.
2. Delete everything from that folder.
3. Quit and restart Skype. Skype login window should be displayed correctly allowing you to enter your Skype credentials.
