Skype OMG DIE!

So when I am signed into Skype everything generally runs really smooth, but every now and again I will get this pathetic message that says:
We can't open Skype. You are already signed in on this computer. Please sign out and try again.
Probably the most annoying message I have had with skype ever.
I’ve followed most of the posts on the net about fixing this and nothing seems to work, I just wanted to find out if anyone knew of a sure way to fix this running via Windows 8.
It makes me laugh when it says You are already signed in and yet asks me to sign out, GEEZUS!!!!
Please help me. Thank you

have COMPLETELY removed it and installed again..?

That doesnt do anything, neither does going to safe mode and renaming the folder neither does doing a registry clean or changing ports, its random and annoying.

They’re all old threads that have nothing to do with the current issue and most of the time have people guessing on what works well for them or others, uninstalling the software is just a waste of time, thanks for your effort.

You can only know its a waste of time if you try it. It was worth a go. Have done an uninstall AND reg clean..?

You don’t happen to have both the Desktop version and The Windows 8 store version installed?
