[SOLVED]AVI files join together

Is it .avi.001, .avi.002 etc. ? If thats the case, you need to join using HJSplit, a Freeware. Alternatively, do every part ends with .avi only (Meaning, are you able to watch each part individually?), if so, you will need a Video Joiner. Search the Application Section with the term “Video Joiner” and you will get tons of links to softwares. Cant help you more specifically here because I personally dont have any experience with these things.

It isnt .avi.001??It is playable….I can play it..And it plays half the movie..I double cheked it it is in .avi..If lets say i use the video joiner..Could you suggest the best video joiner for .avi files..And yes i get to watch the parts individually…I dont want it to work like that..I want to combine all the o 4 parts and make it into one movie….Do you want the download link..I can give you one part of the download link..U try downloading it and seeing..It is a tamil movie..Pls help!!!AND DEFINATELY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

You can join/append those individual parts using Virtualdub.
.001, .002, .003 etc.. is used by 7ZIP.

1)Download Virtualdub from here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdub/
2)Extract/Install the proagram and open it.
3)Open the first part (ie Raavanan.01.TamilWire.com.avi)
4)In the menu, Goto Video and set Mode to “Direct Stream Copy”.
5)Now goto File>Append Video Segment and open the second part (ie Raavanan.02.TamilWire.com.avi) , again goto File>Append Video Segment and open the third part (ie Raavanan.03.TamilWire.com.avi), repeat this until you’ve appended all the parts of the file.
6)Now Goto File>Save as AVI. It should take a minute or less.
Another easy one to use is Boilsoft Video Joiner.

Hey,,i have a porblem now..When i click open video file..It comes out and when i click the 1st one there’s no preview….So when i add all the other files..It is the same..No preview at all.When i click Append AVI Files..There’s a message shows cannot.Any reason why..It worked well last time
Fast AVI MPEG Joiner is what I use. No problems with it yet.
Sorry!!!Guys,,it was the problem with my codec pack..I uninstall it and installed it back..It’s a newer one..thanks !!!!
