(SOLVED) I’m fed up with my ipod touch 3g.

Ok, I jailbroke my brothers fine, but when trying to do my own, i have this problem ‘itunes has detected a ipod in recovery mode’.
How do i get it out of recovery mode? restore? what?
I’m using blackra1n 3.1.2.

From what i have read, 3.1.2 ipod touch can only be tethered jailbroken. Meaning, if you turn it off or the battery dies, it will need to be rejailbroken with blackra1n. so all you would do is plug the ipod back in, without itunes opening, and do the blackra1n, let it do its work, and its done, again.
I actually recovered mine and am putting jailbreaking off to the side until they get an untethered jailbreak.
It seems that the only ipod the blackra1n can’t jailbreak is the ipod touch 3g. Sorry bud.
Ok, doesn’t matter now guys, I jailbroken it with blackra1n few days ago no problem and its fine, tethered but i’m not fussed. FREE APPS + GAMES!
