slow speed

July 26th, 2016

Hey guys. So i recently subscribed with a new ISP provider. I am getting the speeds of 15mb/2mb when i do a speed test, which is my package. However, when i try to download torrents, it moves really slow. When i try it with 2 other ISP providers the torrents download fine and i am able to get the speeds of just 1mb. I tried different torrent applications, but same issue. I called the ISP provider with 3 people saying different things. The firewall was disabled on the router, same result. 1 suggest to upgrade to 30m/5mb, which i am not going to do. My same package of 15mb/2mb, works fine by other users who have same package. Please assist/ advise.

Your ISP may be throttling p2p traffic.

Is there anyway to get around that?

Various ways: you can encrypt the traffic
you can use a seedbox and download the completed torrent
you can use real|all debrid and let it download the torrent for you
you can connect through another machine like using a VPN or a proxy
depending on ISP idiocy, you could try changing the default port. Some very bad filters will listen only for specific ports. To be sure of not taking an already used port. Choose a port (between 0-65535) and check on Internet if it’s not already in use. You should try choosing a port distant from the first hundreds. They are generally already defaulted by some applications.

Can you recommend 2 links for the seed box and real debrid. Also, which ones you recommend?
