Screen color tool?…

I hate my screen colors, i tried to adjust them with windows but nothing seems to work.
the colors are daft and look pretty grayish, example: when i was playin COD4 the colors were very daft and when i connected my laptop to my HDTV the colors were very nice, like real and very colorfull!
is there a prog for this?
i remember using some very easy program to switch from color scheme to colorscheme back in the days… liek 2 years ago.
can someone help me witrh this? i am very unpleased with my screen as its only a month old..

Yes!! that was the tool i searched for!
i remember now, from back in the days when i was addicted to cs1.6, i used it alot.
