Scan software

Does anybody know software for scanning and editing.
E.g.: A school report (points) you scan it with your scanner and you want to change the points. If you have a 2/20 you want to change it (fake it) to 19/20.
And then print it again…
Is this example possible with any software?

Maybe in Excel? or Acrobat Reader (the version that CAN edit, might have another name))

Scan it into ms paint and use the same font and size etc to correct whatever your trying to edit using the text feature. This is only a very basic method. try googling it if you havnt already.

But if you print it then its 10 times bigger.

It is bigger because it is picture now, not doc. If you use MS Word you must insert it like a picture ( INSERT->PICTURE->FROM FILE) and resize to the page size, than print.
