Rip videos from a website

I have a video I want to pull off of Fox’s website. I used to use a program called StreamTransport but the new version are full of viruses and the old version doesn’t work. Suggestions?

You should try JDownloader2 or the web developer tools found in various browser. With FireFox you have to press F12. Maybe on Chrome it will still be F12. If F12 doesn’t make appear them on Chrome, you can browse the menu and you will find them. Use the inspector mode, the highlight the object selected with the mouse on the developer screen and get the real address of the stream. Once you have the stream you should be able to download it…
I suggest using JDownloader2; it should be able to do it automatically…

Firefox has an add on “Video Download Helper 5.3.1.1”. Make sure you configure it to your liking. I save all my videos as MP4, also disable this add on when just browsing or it might try to grab any video.

I use this great fast program but for the life of me cannot get the converthelper plugin working.. I install into Firfox but do not see it..anyone?
