I once faced same prob in win xp and got through hiren boot from USB. Try it..
For everyone whos facing the same problem, i ve tried this on Win 7 32bit & 64bit – works like a charm.

Hirens Boot is the last time that works for me
Yes, Hirens boot cd works. I myself use BackTrack and just remove the password from the SAMFILES. However it seems that when this is done with either Hirens or BackTrack it seems to corrupt my EFS files. There are many forums that say that it’s easy on the EFS files but I have not had it work right yet.
