Resolution problem while playing games

I have download the X men origins and the splinter cell double agent sir the games are working perfectly well sir but the resolution is where the problem lies As Call of duty MW 2 games have options like 1366 X 768 its coming in full resolution but not the games without that option
You see i have a monitor with resolution 1366 X 768 and the game does not have such resolution The highest resolution given in the game 1024 X 768 I have ATI mobility radoen HD 5470 it has 512MB graphics card
Can i fix this problem!!! please help me
If i reduce my resolution in the monitor to 1024 X 768 the screen size goes down I hope you understand my problem
I have Catalyst Control Centre PLs help me!!!

Do this.
Right Click on your Desktop Shortcut Click “Run as Administrator”
Under Compatibility Mode “Select Windows XP Sp3”
Choose higher resolution than 1366×768 & you should be fine.
Had a similar issue, Solved using this.
Also, You can’t use 1366×768 since, I believe that’s a non standard resolution. Some games don’t support them.

Yes sir i did as you said!!! my highest screen resolution itself is 1366 X 768 sir!!!

The proper way to do this sort of thing is usually to modify the .ini file with your required resolution.

I suppose you have to figure out what to do with each game…
What you can do if you just want to stretch out any standard resolution game display to fit a widescreen is to enable GPU scaling in Catalyst Control Centre…
Open CCC and go Graphics > Desktops and displays, right click on the pix of your monitor at bottom left > Configure > Attributes and then tick GPU Scaling and Apply…
This is handy for your “PopCap ” games and that sort of thing where it’s just nice to have them fill ths screen.
