Recovery After Format

Are there any apps that can recover .iso, .bin and other file types like that after a format. I’m using Recover My Files, but it can only find music and .rar (well those are the only types i’d need) but I lost a lot of roms and PC games.

You can try getting heirens bootdisc. That disc has many various recovery apps on it.

You must have an old version of Recover My Files. It finds everything.

it was the newest one on WBB, uploaded by a mod. it doesn’t have an option for .iso or .bin which are the most important

Getdataback for ntfs works like a charm. Keeps the filenames in order too.

no, it’s the fact that none of them showed files before my format, just files i’ve deleted from my new install. RecoverMyFiles found stuff, but it didn’t have any names, so it was pointless. I wouldn’t know what i was getting.

that actually found my stuff. thanks a ton. and it only took an hour and a half, compared to the 8 hours it took RecoverMyFiles lol

OK Well EaseUS worked fine. all that i couldn’t get was that files for my PC games, about 75% of my TV shows, and my pr0n. if only there was a wbb for porn lol. thanks a ton

easeus data recovery did found my files from my external hard drive but the problem is that it can’t be saved, it says saving was unseccesfull. Can anyone help me with this. thanks

You will probably be able to recover files but they archives & images will likely be corrupt
