Recover Unsaved MS Word Documents…

Is there any simple way to recover Microsoft Word documents? I was halfway finished in typing up an assignment but I didn’t save it and got the blue screen of death (because of the cheap government laptops). Any recovery programs?
When I turned the comp back on and opened Word, I clicked “Delete the files, I have saved the ones I need” without thinking…so it’s gone?

C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\Recent
