Question regarding VLC Player.

August 5th, 2016

Hi guys,
I use VLC Player to play videos in .mkv format but I’ve encountered a problem with the subtitles. I downloaded a Hong Kong movie, when I played it with VLC Player, the chinese subtitles were shown in block characters instead.

I’ve tried searching for other chinese subtitles from Google. It didn’t work. They became some weird characters like this.

I downloaded the movie from this thread:

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day.
