Question on reset cmos on evga x58
October 23rd, 2013
my question is did i do it in the right way? thanks
If the board has a clear cmos switch or button then that’s fine.
I remember my Abit IN9-32X MAX motherboard was the first board i had with such a feature. For good reason because you were always pressing the thing when overclocking lol such a problematic board. R.I.P ABIT motherboards.
Well you might just get away with it…The proper way is to shut of the power completely before resetting the bios..
