question about divx players…

August 2nd, 2016

ok..
my old dvd player died on me..(its an awesome one) but anyway
I saw a toshiba brand dvdplayer that says it is certified DiVx.. does it mean it can play avi files? specifically any avi files like axxo’s?
its less than 50 bucks by the way…

Answer #1
make sure you download divx files or xvid files on .avi container because some .avi contains x264 or h264 codec because .avi is a just a container anyway

FYI
aXXo “Does NOT” release New movies…..so if you see a movie that is 2009, someone has put the aXXo name there to generate hits and trick people into thinking that it is a genuine aXXo release….it’s hit-or-miss.
You will notice on alot of sites that there is 2009 aXXo releases, but people just put that on the filename because aXXo has become a trusted releaser.
I would suggest looking for movies on WBB from “ultrascorp”.
They are always clean releases.
Just thought i’d let ya know so you don’t get P|ssy when you DL a file that is labelled aXXo, and it don’t work in your new dvd player.
As well………
If you need to convert a file into avi/xvid, use the following software options
Media Convert Master
http://~ Dead file host ~/files/305839549/Media.Convert.Master.8.4.1.200.rar
Ultra RealMedia Convert

VOB to Avi converter (and many other file types)

ultrascorp release seem to be x264 container , which a normal Divx player won’t be able to read.
Some look like to be hd-mini , which are in .mkv container , a Divx player won’t be able to read it either
Axxo might just indeed re-encode those scene original release , but if you are getting any scene original release (dvdrip) they 100% sure it will work on a Divx player.
Axxo ain’t a scene members , but is release also 100%(pretty sure about that) will work on a standard Divx Player

A word of warning, I to have a Toshiba DVD player and even thou it is Divx certified it does not play all .avi’s for some reason.
I also have a Panasonic player that plays everything, even the one’s the Toshida won’t play.
