Ps3 upgrading HDD

I’m looking to upgrade my 120gb to a 500gb hdd so I can get some more of the PS+ and The last of us and The inFamous games.
I’ve already got a couple of digital games downloaded like Uncharted 3, which I don’t want to delete in case I want to play it again since its 30gb. Can I put the new hard drive in the ps3 and then transfer all of the installed games and saves from the original to the new?

You’ll need to store it on a third drive, add in the new upgrade, and restore onto it from the third drive. I’d check it backs up games first, as there may be an issue with licensing. It may just do saves, videos, etc.
