Problem with GTA SanAndreas after latest directX update

January 29th, 2020

Previously I had a directX 9c but not the latest version, then I was trying to play the new COD 5 Beta and got an error that some DirectX 9 files where missing, so I felt compelled to do the directX update. But now I can’t play GTA anymore it starts to glitch the sound when loading and is sooooo slow that I can’t play it .Damn. I love that game so much. And I seem to not be able to roll back or do a system restore that actually restores how everything was before the update. I also noticed that the windows startup melody is kind of scrambled.Something that wasn’t before the update. Who knows what to do ??? Other games such as Doom3, HalfLive2, COD2 dont have this issues.Only GTA and the startup melodies of XP. Anybody?

Something definitely went wrong while updating. Rather, I suggest you download a fresh copy of Direct X, and do the installation.
