Problem with downloaded rar files

August 3rd, 2016

hey, i need some help.
whenever i download some files, most of them are corrupted. if i download 3 files, 1 or 2 are corrupted.
does anyone have an idea?
i know that some times, a file could have been wrongly downloaded and so, is corrupted. but man, this this too much.
lately, i downloaded a games of 35 parts, each 200mb. part 8 and part 20-35 were all corrupted. this is too much. a week ago, i downloaded that same game, having 4 parts, each 2gb and guest what, two of the files are corrupted.
so, i assume this is not ordinary like it may happen a few time.
so, if you have an idea, please inform me as quick as possible or else i`ll have to find some other links….
i also have another problem,
for instance, if for the 35 parts, the pass is abcd when i start extracting, all goes well. but at the middle, it says wrong password, even if it is a good one.
why is this?
please help

Are you using a download manager or through your browser? Are all the files the same size (besides the last one ofc)? it sounds like they could be timing out midway.
Answer #2
The links you downloaded from the same users may times, its could just be the possiblity that the uplaoders has had 1or2 files currupt. Have you since then tried other reliable links with good user rating? Let me know what the results are after.
Answer #3
i use flashget
also, other people downloaded the same files, and i worked for them.
even for me, after downloading the same file numerous times, it then work….

Ok i would recommend the following method for downloading multiple rar’s. You will need to use firefox as the defualt broaser and add the following plugin:
FlashGot: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/latest/220/addon-220-latest.xpi?src=addondetail
DownThemAll! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/latest/201/addon-201-latest.xpi?src=search
this will allow you to select a whole list of links and right click and download all of them.
Answer #5
Does it do the same thing when you download the files through your browser? Do you have stable internet?
Answer #6
i had this trouble some time ago……the solution to my problem was simple……..lots of bad sectors in the partition of your hard drive can lead to corrupt .rar files every time you try to extract them…..and every time you try so the corrupt files are different
so just defragment the partition where you download your files
also clean your ram.( helped my frnd)…..remove it from its slot and try cleaning for dust or something
Answer #7
i already have the flashgot plugin
and i don`t think it will do the same when downloading on the browser
however, the files are too big and they are rs and mu.
but i think there should be a problem.
is it with the anti-virus? i use kaspersky Anti-Virus
