Playstation 3 Movies

I know some Avi files are not compatible on ps3 and its a 50-50chance of it working on the PS 3, does any one know if theres like a converter for movies to make it work on the ps3? thanks!

yes there are lots. i only just got a ps3 so i cant say which is the best. for xbox i used to use gotsent. but if u search ‘playstation 3’ conveter under apps on this forum u will get many converters. one can be found here:

my ps3 plays avi formats but not mkv’s i don’t know why yours doesn’t but thats through streaming

Not all AVI files are the same, Load the problem file into mediainfo and post the rusults
