Playstation 3 HELP,QUICKLY

So i have a problem,my PS3 won’t start
i mean…it’s red = stand by,i press it it goes to green=turned on
but nothing appears on my TV
I just hear the beep noise,and that is it O.o
what to do? please help…

simple things first…sure you have tv on right input and and the cables are all connected..and hopefully you didnt accidentally change the settings to 1080p when your tv only does 1080i

Yea it’s not about that,but yes i did put all the right cables in all the right places,same cables i used 5 months ago,yea i didn’t play my PS3 that long
now,back then,it worked perfectly,but now,i just can’t remmember how to start it,i remember it was something like press twice the power button…but i can’t remmember the correct “instructions” I mean i press the power button,it goes to green led,but i can’t remmember how to get to the “twice beeping” thing
It just beeps once…i hope you understand me?

When your PS3 is turned off, instead of just pressing the power on button once, keep pressing it until it beeps 3 times. This will reset your PS3’s settings.

I did that,i hold it for as long as i can,but firstly it is red…i press it automaticly goes green then i hold it,and hold it,and hold it…and well it goes to red
Do you mean like i should press rapiditly or should i hold? becaus if you ment hold as i stated on beggining of the messege i already did that
