Packet Sniffer

Hi I was wondering if there is a program which can sniff packets and capture packets and save them as the file type they are?
For instance if I capture packets from hulu from port 1935 how do I then convert or extract the video file so I can view it?
I have a free program called Smartsniff but what do I do with the captured packets?

There is no such thing!
Packet sniffers are made for traffic analysis (So you could get a full picture of what exact data is being exchanged in/out) which can be very useful in certain cases. But that’s as far as it goes, They aren’t made for ripping video streams or files. You could try this app which claims to work with hulu:

I used to check my temp files for the videos downloaded / streamed , as they need to be transferred after all …
