Could you explain to me what is Activity Tracker Tools ? what do they track ? what activity ?

^ Why not similar and not redmine itself, it is for linux (though not open-source). @ OP 2 questions:
1. Free?
2. Just how basic or advanced you need it? If it’s just for note taking just get a web app that syncs to the cloud.

Like personal activities for eg., if I want to finish off a book say in 2 days I could assign that as an activity against a timeline.

Never used it but seeing the screenshots yes something like redmine. But isn’t there nothing simpler than this?

2. Basic activity tracking against a timeline will do.
