Office save error

I saved a file i have been working of for weeks in office. when it saved i saw the file was there and then i went to reopen it and it said it couldn’t open the file and the file had disappeared. When i search for it on my computer it comes up but can’t be open as it ‘doesnt exist’. Also i tried using a hdd forensics program and it found it as a ‘lost file’ and when i restored it it was trashed. I have what remains of the file in a doc/docx, is there anyway to fix this? Thanks for any help!

The file is visible in search but if i go to the file in explorer its not there.

Can you post a few images about the file.. use Gadwin PrintScreen Pro if you don’t have one! Download it on ..

what do you mean images of the file? I can’t go to properties because its “not there” so all id be able to show you is the file which wouldn’t help more that what ive said.
