NOTHING DOWNLOADS FULLY ON INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY ON FIREFOX

every time i try to download anything on internet explorer it doesnt download the full file like for example if the file is 2.5mb it will only download 27kb of it and says it has finished downloading in 1 second its with everything i download from rapidshare movies to small software prgrams it doenst downlaod the full file but when i try it on firefox and it downloads full providing i leave the computer and dont browse the intenet or it will just finsh like say if it downloading as soon as i enter google.com it will finsh the download which is very anoying and i ahve reinstalled windows sp2 and i also have IE7 any ideas ?

Belongs in help section. Anyway do u have zone alarm installed? It messed up my connections and i faced a similar problem as yours.
