Nothing comes up after booting windows 7
December 14th, 2013
Is this a fresh installation, if not, what did you do last time that you shut down the PC? We need more info….
It is a fresh installation – my computer is full of viruses, anyways. The last time I was yesterday – I tried to boot a different disk with different files but I didnt make it bootable therefore I was stuck on the “Booting” part in DOS.
Im downloading one more version of windows 7.
Did the disk used to work?
Burn a new disk from the ISO with ImgBurn and do it x4 speed and preferably with a different brand of media.
Another thing you can try is giving it a good squirt with window cleaner and polish it dry thoroughly..
No it’s a new disk. I never tried it before.
Therefore – I’ll burn another one with 4x, and different files.
Make sure to read comments of the windows that you are downloading, to make sure that you aren’t downloading version with viruses preinstalled….
Thats the explorer.exe process that is not starting up. Click ctrl + Esc and then file > new task and type explorer.exe. Should work. Then you have to solve the problem to make it start up always. You should type on run: msconfig and then search around and see if explorer is disable on startup. good luck
