Dual booting mac os on windows?

I want to learn how to use mac os proficiently. I never used a mac before so it would be a good os to mess around. Possible to dual boot mac and win 7?

To the best of my knowledge, with a PC not unless your Windows is running on a Linux operating system. The Linus would be your main OS. But on my MacPro, I have 2 high speed disks designated for booting and with Parallels Desktop (or Bootcamp) I can boot from Mac on one and then open Windows on the other. But I dumped Windows a long time ago so I’m not sure about things specific to Win 7.
