How do i install windows 98 on an xp OS, i cannot boot it up because the BIOS password is there and i cannot change the setting to boot up from CD, dont ask me to reset the bios password as its an laptop and the battery in the laptop is soldered on and this battery if you remove from the motherboard it still knows the passwords i’ve even called the support for it but they cannot do anything its an old laptop,

Hard question…
Once you are on logged onto your xp, Insert the 98 disc, Try and install but it should say copy files from C drive or D drive (D is your DVD rewriter) Make sure you have it copied from D drive…
If you dont have a disc its a no go, it will say you can not format because the temporary files are in use (Thats if you want to format)
Good luck
