ngbc and ps2 games emulation on hp android all in one desktop

August 7th, 2016

Hello…. My sister bought a secondary HP 21k100 All In One Android Desktop . I can play PSP games ,NDS and other emulator games on this very well. They run smoothly and PS1 games emulation is very fast.
I would like to know if this android desktop is capable of emulating Nintendo Game Cube games. They have made Dolphin for Android please tell me if the NVDIA TEGRA 4 (Shield ) can run it and PS2 games I have no chance it is still in beta stage and only few games (small size ) can be playable.
I would like to know if there is a fully powerful ps2 emulator for android can my desktop emulate it ?
and also emulating Nintendo Gamecube games on this.
Here is my HP All in Desktop Android full configuration ….

How good is my processor ? Some people have told me it is noway near to Nvidia K1 the best where you play NGC games with no problem.
Also tell me about Memory and most important Graphics Card ? Are they for console games emulation ?

Answer #1
Dreaming, at least 10 years will tell.
Look at the current emulation status of PS2 on PC, the hardware needed.
Answer #2
I don’t see why not at all, I mean your machine greatly exceeds the target console specs, which are the following,
Gamecube:
    GPU: 162 MHz
    CPU: 486 MHz
Memory: 86MB (Split into 4 different technical types)
PS2:
    GPU: 147 MHz
    CPU: 294 MHz
    Memory: 32MB

Also some emus have bench marking / performance tools to check (not sure for the Android ones), so just give it a try and let us fellow wbbers know how it went, maybe we can help someone else in the future.
