.nfo Why is there so often an .nfo file included in my dl ?

Why is there so often an .nfo file included in my download? Is there any reason why it’s there?

Just for information…Install info and sometimes Serials/Keys…

quite simply they are the Release Notes the group that duz the cracking, hacking, etc releases a .NFO so that they can have some credit for their releases
open one up and see
(you have to open it with notepad btw)

.nfo’s are scene related info files which contain informations about the release. e.g. for movies they give you informations about length, resolution, size, format, imdb rating, plot, extra notes.
get DAMN NFO Viewer to have a look into them.

So it’s normal when I click it, I just see my own computer specs.

i cant open them with notepad
i must open them with wordpad
