New Motherboard Help

I know newegg has some good deals going on so this would be the perfect time to do a little upgrading on my desktop.
This is the motherboard I have now:

Here are my current specs:
Processor: Intel Core 2 6600, 2.4ghz
RAM: 2GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia Gefoce 9500 GS
Surprisingly I can play Crysis and current games on low settings with these specs
I would love to upgrade it to something newer, preferably one that takes DDR3 ram since it costs less. I’m only looking to spend around $100 or less on the motherboard. I’m not trying to deck it out with all of the latest stuff since I am mostly a console gamer.
I am also looking for a decent processor to go along with it. I just want something a little bit better than what I have. So with that said, I would love any suggestions you guys have.

Budget for CPU? It will cost you around $250 in total.
Try an i3 2105 with the cheapest H67 motherboard you could get with some 8 GB of DDR3.
