if you dont understand it the is this http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-009016.htm
Please remember to code/tag your links- XXPAIGEXX.
but my mobo has this front panel connector thingy:
Motherboard is mode ASUS M3A76-CM
That sure looks like a USB connector or a Audio connector or a firewire connector. It depends on what it says on the connectors on your case. But you have to check it out the MOBO manual.
yeah it does but is one of those 9-pin ones http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-009016.htm
at first i had it in the COM1 header… and the i realized it was in the wrong place, but it doesnt fit in the front panel header in any way.
If your thing works then leave it, okay one thing.
You said that it was from your case, what doesn’t work when you tried to connect something to it?
Everything seems to be working, the LED light on the motherboard lights up, but that is from the PSU, but when I press the power button on the front panel, it doesnt power on the pc… obviously because the pins are not connected properly. but there is no way.. atleast that i can see, of doing it
EDIT:
i used the highlighted pins and everything seems to be working now. thanks guys
Dont you have Q-Connectors???
