Netflix to HD, Not stream capture
January 22nd, 2020
Failing that, anyone know the size of a Netflix movie, about 1.5hrs long?
It used to be in .wmv format, stored in a temp folder but all the info, and searches here are either unrelated or very old.
Yeah, I wanted a way to do so but found nothing. Google silver light capture, there’s ways but it’s hard.
thanks @ I had read some really old stuff about Netflix using Silverlight, in what context I don’t know, maybe splitting the files into multi packets, which makes it harder to copy. Not sure. So it seems like some variation of screen capture: audials one or wondershare video converter ultimate. curious how they have that locked down since I paid for the thing, but there you go, take it or leave it.
I guess i’ll call them and see how large the files are, how much bandwidth because I have a limit cap and that is always the deciding factor and why I wanted to use a manger to see what the size is before I got involved.
If I run into anything useful in recording to a hd without running the entire movie i’ll post it here. but it looks doubtful. i’ll look into the Silverlight more.
If you are paying for Netflix, that’s more expensive than to pay for debrid or filehost, which doesn’t make sense. Why can’t you use a filehost to get what you want?
So I presume you are are in a shared house, correct? If so, you have other options..
Thank you for the reply @. In fact I’m not really paying them a cent, for streaming and all, for the first 6 months, with a deal through fatwallet, at which point I will bail, as you suggest But for their purpose I may as well be paying full on price. No way am I gonna …. well, you know. it does have some stuff that is difficult to get: case in point aberration 1997. The free streaming stuff is all out of sync. tried wmp classic but it is so far out I never could get it synced, not available unless you buy the dvd ebay or stream it via amazon or Netflix. Just a for instance.
I did call and found out the auto size/bandwidth is 1gb/hr but can be lowered to .3gb’s/hr low resolution setting, which is doable, in my situation.

Lol funny.
Not everyone can download, as said…he’s not paying for it.
