need serious help once games for pc downloaded

well ive downloaded call of duty 4

and ive extracted them and all the files are in rzr-cod4.001
like that but nothing else… wat do i do to make them work.. please i need help… explain how to go further thanks in advance

After extraction you will get a ISO file, with that you can choose 2 choice
1st choice, burn the ISO file
2nd choice, mount in on a program like daemon tools

Get 7Zip and extract the .001 file. You can get 7Zip here:

Also, if you read the comments on the thread that you posted you’ll notice that part 57 is corrupt so download the fixed file and replace the broken one:

After that you should get a file named rzr-cod4.iso. Mound it with Daemon Tools and install. Good luck mate ^_^

no dude for rar.001 files use hjsplit(google it free) then join the files press join and install the game etc.

I’m going to disagree with you here mate. HJSplit works fine with the compression algorithm and will join .001 .002 type files. However, even WinRar and 7Zip can extract the files that were split using that algorithm. Also, notice the file names (i.e rzr-cod4.001). HJSplit’s biggest weakness is that it tends to join the files and remove the extensions, meaning the new file will be named “rzr-cod4” and not “rzr-cod4.iso”. That’s not a major flaw and renaming the file is easy enough but still, using a program such as 7zip will be more efficient and faster than using HJSplit and the original extension will remain in place.
