Need help RaRing

Hi all,
I tried searching this problem and have come with few results. I have a video files that are 400mb and 500mb and i want to upload them to hotfile in a single link but hotfile has a 400mb maximum size limit. I tried compressing with winRAR and KGB but after each compression even at the setting ‘best’ the rar file still says that its 400mb. Is there anyway to compress these files to less than 400mb in a rar/zip, etc. Thank you.
– I was wondering if that since the video itself is compressed then maybe winrar, etc cannot simply compress anymore. If so, is there some sort of app that will allow me to convert the video into a smaller size without drastically changing the quality of it.

No. The movies are already compressed.
You can split the movie(s) into 2 files.
