NBA 2K14 (PS3 version) stuck on Updating new content

I tried playing NBA 2K14 (PS3 version) on-line with a friend when I got the message “Updating new content”. The system wasn’t frozen or anything. I just couldn’t get past the “Updating new content” message. I waited and waited and nothing happened.

Try again after restarting the ps3 or delete the game and reinstall again and see if you can download the update.
