Computer: Lenovo r61 thinkpad
My usb ports won’t work, i know it’s a driver problem but i just can’t seem to find the right driver, i’ve searched through the lenovo site and found a driver that seems to be the USB driver it’s called: “Ricoh 4-in-1 card reader driver”
i install it, it doesn’t ask for me to reboot or anything, and my usb still won’t work.. i just don’t know what to do.. can someone pls take a look and tell me whats the problem??

it’s in danish but the language doesn’t really matter..

Firstly “Ricoh 4-in-1 card reader driver” has nothing whatsoever to do with the motherboard usb ports, it’s an external card reader (for camera cards, etc)
Second, a google search for “intel ich8 usb driver” gave this:
http://download.cnet.com/Intel-R-ICH8-Family-USB-Universal-Host-Controller-2830/3000-18493_4-93391.html
In the top three pages shown!
Try that driver, see if it works (kill the ricoh driver, unless you do actually own the card reader.)

Seriously dude, what do u want me to download?? i just can’t figure it out, you’ve given me a link, i press download now, and the site for Intel shows up.. then u say something about a top 3??
AND don’t i already have “Intel(R) (ICH8 Family) USB Universal Host Controller – 2830” installed?? the first 7 usb drivers, says ICH8 …. so i don’t see why you are telling me to install it AGAIN?
