First:
Try the manual power on button which is on your motherboard.
They’re usually small round/square buttons (check the motherboard manual) that look sort of like this (look at the top left hand corner, above the 00 lcd boot message indicator)

Answer #3
you can always try to remove the power switch connector for a sec & manually make a connection with a screwdriver or piece of wire.
you can test if the psu works by removing the BIG(20 or 24) connector that on the mobo & make a connection between the green & any black wire. that’ll start the PSU(turns of if you break the connection).
if the PSU works & the mobo doesn’t turns on manually making the connection it’s broken & most likely beyond repair.
Answer #4
most likely he broke the motherboard because some of the electricity passes (like the small light on the motherboard) and the rest that goes to the usb and the internet plug doesnt because all of the other leds dont work

that led shows only that your pc is ready to switch on it is normal for only that to be on when you haved switched on the power socket but not the pc on switch the best sugestion to date (after checking ALL connectors) is remove the power on switch plug and short out the header pins with a small sarew driver
