Multi IM

Hy, I just wanted to ask if anybody knows a multi IM software that can combine MSN and Skype… I really couldn’t find anything. I know of Trillian, Pidgin, Digsby and such, but neither of them includes Skype.

Trillian Astra does but you need Skype running aswell, pretty pointless really.

It might be worth having a look at Miranda and the extensions. I don’t know whether it will do what you want.

Well, I know about the plugins for different IM, but they need Skype runing in the background, and as you say, that’s pretty pointless…

I’ve read all about those IM’s (Miranda, Pidgin, Trillian) and they can support Skype with different plugins , but the catch is that they need Skype running in the background, what makes no sense. I’m looking for a IM that doesn’t need Skype running.

Skype does not have to run in backgrooun.
I used Miranda, Pidgin, even Trilian with no Skype turned on.
SO i think it is not needed to proper run
