Motherboard and Memory Support Lists

Reading the support lists I am struggling to find RAM that is supported and was wondering if any RAM can be used with the mobo?
The mobo is Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
I wanted to use G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL) but is not on the list but would they still work?
I want to keep the cost of the RAM as low as possible while having 8GB RAM

If you go to the computer shop, you can ask them to test it on the board before you make a purchase.
