MKV HD – DVD conversion?

January 28th, 2020

Does anyone know any good ways of converting MKV x264 video files to DVD while maintaining good quality at the same time APART from using ConvertXtoDVD?
After trying numerous times to use ConvertXtoDVD to do it, I get out of sync audio EVERY single time, and it gets infuriating. Thanks for any help in advance.

I just did this, by using
. . . . . Amadis Video to DVD Creator
I used Amadis Video to DVD Creator to author the Mkv file into the proper video files (vobs) for burning . . That is, saving to a hard-drive folder. . . It first made one huge Vob file, and then at the end made the two folders AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, the latter with the various Vobs, etc . . . Then use any DVD burning program to burn this VIDEO_TS folder to a DVD . . . It takes about 1 .5 hours for a 2.3gb Mkv file. . . . and about 3 hours for a 4.7 Mkv file
If you have trouble playing a Mkv file, use Media Player Classic. . . But open Media Player Classic, under View-Options, uncheck the Matroska filter. . . Then go to Free-Codecs.com and download-install the latest Matroska pack. . . Got this from AfterDawn.com – -guides – – how to play Mkv files
