Media Player Classic stuck in Fullscreen

August 25th, 2013

Well,
I suddenly have a problem with my Classic Windows Media player… Wich seems to get stuck in fullscreen every time I start a movie, I can’t use any key combinations to get out of the fullscreen, movie just plays and I can pause by clicking it but that’s it.
I need to totally log off or turn of the computer to start doing something else again…
Anyone ever had this problem or knows a solution?
Thanks in advance,
K

Make sure you have the latest version of K-Lite Codec pack installed. Check here:

Answer #5
Open MPC on its own.
Check the output settings.
View – Options – Playback – Output.
Make sure D3D Fullscreen is off.
Answer #6
Duck’s most likely right.
I don’t know why people keep banking on about Klite or other codec packs – MPC HC plays 99% of everything as is..
