lost windows CD but i have the Product key HELP PLEASE!

HI all well i bought my pc and somehow i lost the CD now that i need to reinstall my pc i don’t have the cd enymore
byt i still have the pach on my laptop with the key and all !!!
is there a chance that i can download a copy of windows xp pro from microsoft and reinstall my laptop again?
and if so would my product key work again!?

Yes…Just download a copy that correspond to your key..I’m guessing OEM…Also make sure if your key is for XP pro or home…
It’s the key that determines whether your windows is legit or not not the CD…
