Ok, new problem now…
What’s with the “You have 30 days to activate” thing? I tried my product key and it keeps saying it’s invalid. I even used the Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder and it still didn’t work. It just keeps saying ‘Incorrect Product Key.’

Alright, I’m extremely sorry to gravedig this topic, but this is important.
So apparently after thinking a crack I used to get rid of the 30-day activation thing worked, it got locked up. I just reinstalled it again, and that was fine but now I still need another key(I lost the topic where I got the original key from. -_- It had a download to a text file with a bunch of them.).
Any help? I’m positive of the version now:
Windows XP Professional OEM Media Center Edition, SP1.
Edit: Oh good lord…Nevermind. I just found the topic not more than 5 minutes after making this topic(And I had been searching for 2 hours previously).

http://www..org/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=6377Just to make you clear on this… When you use fake keys to install windows, as far as im aware, you cannot then update windows because you will receive an update designed to sniff out fake keys, and then you will get locked out just as you did.
So, once you are set with your installed windows and new FAKE key, you must goto the control pa > Goto updates > and turn off automatic updates.
Another wise thing to do, is to download windows xp which has service pack 3 pre-installed.
Service pack 3 is the latest service pack for windows… and i believe you may also even be able to find websites that provide updates for people who have pirated copies of windows, Although I’m not sure if that is true anymore.
