Looking for a Game for Playstation 1 / Sega Saturn

There is a game im looking for, im 99% sure its either on Sega Saturn or Playstation 1. If anyone could help me, ive been looking for it for quite some time.
The only thing i remember from it is, you started on a sail boat and you just went around areas fighting, (turn based / role playing i believe) and recrutiing other types of people to your group. thats all i can remember out of it. any help?

possibly could be suikoden for the ps1, go have a look at youtube and see if its that. also should check out vandal hearts or breath of fire 3/4, or chrono cross.

I also thought of Vandal Hearts or TO:LUCT . Could you narrow the console down at least?

No i cant because im not sure completely what it is for, but. None of the games provided in the w posts are the game im looking for. I think it had to do with block movements like final fantasy tactics (i think), u are on the boat 100% of the game i believe, expect when battling. u go to a random dungeon and you battle there then go the ship again.
